I am a professional educator and performer. Music, theatre, and education have been my full-time job for 20 years! I believe that my active performing career enhances my teaching, and keeps me up to date with new work, pedagogical research, and the realities of life as a performer.

As an educator, I maintain high standards. However, I apply those standards with care, always considering each student's individual needs. My students have been accepted into elite classical and musical theatre post-secondary programs across North America, and many are working as professional performers. 

​​Learning about the physical process of singing is an important part of our lesson study, along with discovering who we are as artists! Understanding the dynamic relationships occurring in our body when we sing provides students with greater access to their vocal and artistic potential. Understanding how we want to communicate as artists directs how we use our physiological understandings to train our voices. My goal is to provide my students with the pedagogical and artistic skills they need to become independent, confident performers.

LESSON FEES
ALL LESSONS are 50 minutes of in-studio time, with 10 minutes for sanitization (in-person), emailing lesson notes, and/or tech transitions (online)

*Lesson packages are available for 3, 6, or 9 prepaid lessons. Lessons are $75/lesson
*Lessons must be used in the semester for which they were purchased
*Lessons are available in three separate semesters: Sept-Dec, Jan-Mar, Apr-July

* 10% Discount for students who have completed arts post-secondary*

ADDITIONAL SEMESTER FEES
Recital fee $20.00, Masterclass fees $50.00
Pianist fees $60/hour (pianists attend our lessons once a month. Their fees are in addition to your regular lesson fee.)
